Last week’s University graduation was a huge milestone for CCF and for me personally.
These were the very first children I found working and living on the tragic Steung Meanchey garbage dump when I first moved here in 2004 & 2005.
Back then, I had big dreams. But even in my wildest dreams, I never thought I would see such a day.
These two sisters are talking to local media so you will likely see more of their story.
There are many, many others who also overcame the worst of conditions and just graduated. It took 14 years of intense, full-time study to get to this point but they did it.
I am filled with pride, admiration and so much love for them all.
So, for those who think that life has been, maybe this will provide some perspective.
